Chỉ quan niệm dân gian rằng người bị nhiều người ghét bỏ, oán trách thì dễ gặp điều không may, đến cả con cái trong nhà cũng khó nuôi, khó yên ổn. Câu này dùng để răn người ta sống cho phải đạo, đừng để mang tiếng thất đức.

Expresses the folk belief that someone widely hated or resented will meet misfortune, especially that their children in the household may be difficult to raise or may not thrive. It is used as a warning to live properly and avoid conduct that earns others’ condemnation.
